Lucy Griffiths, best known in the UK for her role as Maid Marian in the BBC’s recent version of Robin Hood, has signed up for a regular role in the fifth series of True Blood.

She will play Nora, a centuries-old vampire “sister” of Alexander Skarsgard’s character Eric – both were turned by Godric. According to TV Line, the character is described as “intelligent, intimidating, cool under pressure and a very good liar”, working as a “double agent within the Vampire Authority.”
