Big Finish has persuaded both of Blake’s 7‘s original leading men to reprise their roles for the first season of their enhanced audiobook series The Liberator Chronicles.

Gareth Thomas and Paul Darrow will play Blake and Avon in Peter Anghelides’ story Counterfeit, in which Blake breaks into the Bovee Mining Facility, where he hopes to discover the secret of Illusium, a mineral that has the potential to transform the Federation’s fortunes. Darrow will then appear with Michael Keating as Vila in Simon Guerrier’s The Turing Test, in which Avon infiltrates a base disguised as an advanced android while Keating stars with Anthony Howell in the final story, Nigel Fairs’s Solitary.
