The first instalment of a new Fringe spin-off comic, Beyond the Fringe, has been released today by DC Comics.

The seven-issue story is divided between an A story – Peter and the Machine, written by Fringe star Joshua Jackson – and a B story which will feature “what if?” tales that imagine variations of events and adventures in the established Fringe universes.

According to some sources, Jackson’s three-part A story is set between the third season finale and the series premiere, which airs on September 23 on Fox in the US, and September 28 on Sky 1 in the UK. The comic is available via read.dccomics.com
