According to a new interview with Fringe star John Noble, there may be a reunion on the show’s fourth season earlier than most people had anticipated, following the disappearance of Peter Bishop from existence in the finale to the third year.

Speaking to TVLine.com on September 12 at the Fox annual Eco-Casino party, Noble admitted that he had been reunited with his TV son, played by Joshua Jackson, in front of the cameras. “That’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it?” he said initially then confirmed, “Oh, yes, I have. And it’s been wonderful.” The actor refused to give details about how this takes place, although he noted that fans would be “probably surprised, but not unhappily.”
