The revitalised Futurama was one of the big winners at the Creative Emmy Awards, which were handed out in Los Angeles on September 10.
The series won Best Animated Program for the episode The Late Philip J. Fry, which first aired on Comedy Central in July 2010 and was described by creator Matt Groening as his favourite episode of the sixth season. Maurice LaMarche’s work in the episode Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences received Outstanding Voice-over Performance for his voices for Lrrr and Orson Welles.
The Walking Dead‘s make up team was honoured with Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For A Series, Miniseries, Movie Or A Special for the opening episode of the AMC series, Days Gone Bye while Game of Thrones received the Outstanding Main Title Design award.
Boardwalk Empire was the biggest winner of the night, receiving seven awards in total.
