Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

The British Board of Film Classification has released the list of deleted scenes that have been added to the Star Wars Blu-ray editions – although they can only be found on Star Wars (The Complete Saga)!

While there has been a great deal of controversy over the further amendments that George Lucas has made to the saga (new shouts of “No!” from Vader, blinking Ewoks and yet more tweaks to the Greedo/Han Solo encounter among them), fans will be pleased to see many ‘new’ scenes revealed… although whether the way you view the whole saga will be altered by 20 seconds of “Aunt Beru’s Blue Milk” is of course open to question.

The Blu-ray sets are released on Monday September 12.
