Fresh from his stint on the Stephen King-based Haven, former Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley has signed up to play a literary agent on the new adaptation of the King novel Bag of Bones.

True Blood‘s Mayor Norris, William Schallert, has also joined the cast to play Max Devore, an elderly man who is trying to gain custody of his granddaughter from her mother, played by Melissa George.

Pierce Brosnan stars as writer Mike Noonan in the miniseries, which director Mick Garris is currently filming in Canada. It is expected to air on A&E in the States later this year.
