Buzz Lightyear and Woody will be sharing a screen with the Muppets later this year, when the next Toy Story short film, Small Fry, is attached to The Muppets movie released in November.

The latest installment for the Pixar franchise was directed by Angus MacLane. Disney announced the news on its Twitter feed on Friday August 19: “Extra! Extra! The next Toy Story Toon, Small Fry, will premiere before The Muppets on November 23.”

The Muppets and its Toy Story sidekick opens in the UK in February 2012.
