Carrie-Ann Moss, who played Trinity in The Matrix trilogy, is set to play a key recurring role in the fifth and final season of spy comedy drama Chuck.

Moss will portray Gertrude Verbanski, the owner of Verbanski Corp, who will be the principal rivals for Chuck and Sarah’s new Carmichael Industries. Previously it was revealed that Adam Baldwin’s John Casey would be involved in a relationship with the character, who is also a former spy.

Chuck returns to NBC for a 13 episode final season starting Friday October 21.
