As always, San Diego ComicCon has been a hotbed of spoiler information for the upcoming TV season. Below are our picks from the various genre panels:
The question of Walternate’s grandson was raised at the Fringe panel – how can he exist, if Peter Bishop has been wiped from ever existing. But according to Anna Torv, “The question is: Is there a child?”
One of the key characters “won’t survive season 5” of Chuck, while Star Wars’ Mark Hamill will play the villain in the opening story.
The US version of Being Human is “striking on a fairly different path” from the BBC original, according to executive producer Jeremy Carver. “We’re laying down our own framework here,” and in the first episode, Sam Witwer’s vampire Aidan kills a girl. “This is a guy who isn’t ready to be on his own yet,” Witwer noted wryly.
Sanctuary‘s fourth season will feature a musical episode “more like Exorcist The Musical” than Glee, according to executive producer and star Amanda Tapping, as well as Tempest, concentrating on Druitt and Helen Magnus’s relationship and showing it “in a very harsh light.”
And Warehouse 13 will feature one episode set inside a video game, in which Saul Rubinek plays a “Monty Python version” of Artie, and there are five different versions of Claudia – unsurprisingly making it Alison Scagliotti’s favourite episode.
