Regular Merlin guest star Santiago Cabrera is reuniting with his former Heroes colleague Sendhil Ramamurthy in the new season of USA Network’s thriller Covert Affairs.

Cabrera, who plays Sir Lancelot on the BBC series and starred as Isaac Mendez on Heroes, will appear in an upcoming episode of the spy show, which starts filming next Tuesday (July 26). “One of my good buddies on Heroes is going to come play with us in the next episode that we start shooting,” Ramamurthy revealed at ComicCon earlier today. “There’s some shenanigans with Annie [Piper Perabo’s CIA trainee character on the show] and Santi’s character possibly,” he added. “We’re very excited about that.”

Covert Affairs stars Harper Island‘s Christopher Gorham with regular appearances by Smallville‘s Emmanuelle Vaugier. It is co-executive produced by original Stargate SG-1 executive producer Jonathan Glassner.
