According to a report on Deadline.com, Starz has decided not to commission a second season of its Arthurian drama, Camelot, co-created by Torchwood writer Chris Chibnall.

The cable channel cites “significant production challenges” for the decision, and Deadline suggests that scheduling conflicts for the actors was part of the problem. Ratings for the series had been on an upswing; the two-hour premiere had earlier set a network record, and the finale drew 1.5 million viewers.
