Former Dollhouse star Dichen Lachman has signed up for a recurring role on SyFy’s North American remake of Being Human.
Lachman, who can be seen over the next few weeks in Torchwood: Miracle Day, will play Izumi, an old vampire who causes problems when she returns to Boston, in the show’s second season which begins shooting soon, according to a report in Variety.
Meanwhile Russell Tovey, star of the original version of Being Human as werewolf George, will be appearing in the second season of Steven Moffat and Mark Gattis’ update of Sherlock, appropriately enough in the version of the most famous Sherlock Holmes story, The Hound of the Baskervilles, retitled The Hounds of Baskerville.
