It may be 14 years since the first Harry Potter novel was released, and a decade following its movie adaptation, but interest in J.K. Rowling’s boy wizard shows little sign of ceasing.
Warner Bros. have released the full trailer for the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II, which has its world premiere in London on July 7, and opens worldwide on July 15.
Meanwhile J.K. Rowling’s new website www.pottermore.com has been receiving thousands of hits from fans, despite currently only displaying two pictures of owls and a “coming soon” message from the author. Her PR company told The Guardian, “All we can say is that Pottermore is the name of JK Rowling’s new project. It will be announced soon, and it is not a new book.” The fansite HPANA have been given advance sight of the project, and said, “it is breathtaking in scope, detail and sheer beauty.”
