MGM and Sony Entertainment have confirmed that the next James Bond movie will be released in the UK and Ireland on October 26, 2012.

The as yet untitled 23rd 007 film will once again feature Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming’s secret agent, with Sam Mendes directing. It will open in the U.S. on November 9.

The film was put on hold between April 2010 and January this year while MGM sorted out its financial problems. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes may appear alongside Craig and Judi Dench’s M.
