Jeff Conaway, who played Security Sergeant Zack Allen on the 1990s sci-fi series Babylon 5, has died, aged 60.
Conaway had been battling with addictions for many years, and had recently appeared in the series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. He had been in a medically-induced coma since May 11th, after being found suffering from pneumonia with sepsis.
He rose to fame after playing the character of Kenickie in the movie version of Grease, and prior to his work on J. Michael Straczysnki’s Babylon 5, had been one of the stars of the comedy series Taxi.
