Chuck creators Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz are adapting Scott Westerfield’s Midnighters into a TV series, potentially for The CW. The series is ‘centred on a small group of people all born on the stroke of midnight who have access to the 25th hour of the day,’ according to Deadline.
The pilot episode for the show will be written by Fedak, with Schwartz producing should the full series be commissioned. Currently the show has a script commitment from Warner Bros. Read our review of the first novel in the series here.
