New Occult drama from Michael Bay and James Wong

An occult crimes task force is at the centre of Occult, a new drama that has received a cast-contingent pilot order from A&E.

Written by Final Destination/Millennium producer James Wong and produced by Transformers’ Michael Bay, Occult follows an FBI agent who returns from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance. Eager to be back on the job, he is paired with an agent with her own complicated history who specialises in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for the newly formed occult crimes task force.

The idea of a police force investigating occult mysteries is not new – the Occult Crimes Unit series of novels by Justin Gustainis and Rosario Dawson’s O.C.T.: Occult Crimes Taskforce have all featured similar ideas in recent years.

  1. Too bad it’s the same James Wong that directed Dragonball Evolution. http://www.dblegends.com
