Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton are working on a new comedy horror show for BBC2 entitled Happy Endings.
The six 30 minute episodes will be produced in-house at the BBC as part of a two-show deal with the comedy pair. BBC Head of in-house comedy Mark Freeland told Broadcast, “We love Reece and Steve, why wouldn’t we do their next two projects? If I was Sky, I would have gone after them. To know we’ve got their next two shows makes my job easier – that’s guaranteed business in the right way. We hope to replicate it with other talent.”
There will not be further episodes of Psychoville, although Freeland hinted that some characters from the show might appear in Happy Endings.
