Producers Jason Richman and David Zabel (E.R.) are developing a new take on Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn for ABC. The new show—to be titled Finn & Sawyer—will see Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer re-united in their 20s following the childhood adventures chronicled by Twain. The pair establish a detective agency based in ‘a Steampunk New Orleans’.
Twain’s much adapted original was first published in 1884.
