Offers have apparently been made to actors Liam Neeson and Mark Wahlberg for leading roles in Vincenzo Natali’s movie version of William Gibson’s ground-breaking cyberspace novel Neuromancer.
The Cube and Cypher director’s movie has been planned for a while, but has had no star names attached until now. It seems likely that Wahlberg is being sot for the leading role of Case, a burnt out computer hacker who accepts a troubling task from the mysterious Armitage, the role set to be played by Neeson.
Neuromancer is planned for release in 2014.
